Let’s say you have 2-3 people bidding up the New Zealand Game Hunting Trip. One is at $5,700 and the other is at $5,500 and it looks like $5,900 is going to be the high bid. Before the auctioneer closes bidding, he can ask the #1 bidder if he will take the hunt at $5,500 and allow both the high bidder and the #2 bidder to each have hunt for $5,500. This “deal” only works the night of the auction and is not available afterwards. This has worked out great for many fundraising events since it can drastically increase the auction bottom line.
Hunting trips are for 2 hunters. Remember to reference a “per hunter” breakdown as the auctions progresses. If a hunt for 2 hunters is at $5,500, that’s just $2,750 per hunter. if a non-hunter is added, the extra cost is $1250, secured by a $250 deposit with the balance of $1000 paid at the lodge.
The Lodge sleeps 6 guests. The group of two hunters will share the lodge with two other groups of hunters. If the hunters decide to bring non-hunters or spouses, they can stay together at the lodge but will still share the accommodation with another group, unless they are a group of 6.
Non-hunters aren’t just welcome - they are an absolute priority! To prove this, we have developed a range of activities available on-site, a short drive or a full day-trip from the lodge. Prices are on application as many can and do change frequently. They also depend on numbers and duration, so please let us know what interests you.
These activities are available on-site and do not require additional guiding or transport. Actual activity costs are available on request and will be charged on the final invoice.
